Our family winery was founded in 2002 by Mr. Stanislav Rudolfský. In 2005, his son Lukáš took over the management of the company and manages it to this day. Together they set about restoring the faded glory of vine growing in the Kutná Hora region, the tradition of which dates back to the 12th century.
The legend about the discovery of silver in Kutná Hora speaks of a monk Dominik who tripped over a silver bar while working in the vineyard.
The most significant variety of this area is Pinot Noir, which was spread here by Emperor Charles IV and which still thrives here after centuries.
We currently farm on more than 80 hectares of land, of which vineyards make up more than 40 hectares.
We are the second largest winery in Bohemia. The remaining land consists of pastures for sheep, orchards and fields. Our goal is to create a self-sufficient farm with organic products of the highest quality.
We are the only winery in the Czech Republic and Slovakia that farms under the prestigious Demeter biodynamic certification. Our wines know no compromises or purchase of anonymous grapes – we grew every berry ourselves in the closed ecosystem of our vineyards, where vines grow in harmony with orchards and pastures.
To return wine to its purest form – as a living imprint of the landscape, which is not distorted by chemicals or the purchase of foreign grapes. We want to be proof that in Czech and Moravian conditions, world-class wines can be created in complete harmony with cosmic and earthly cycles. Our goal is a landscape that is not exhausted, but flourishing and full of life for future generations.
We do things differently because we believe that shortcuts do not lead to honest wine. Our mission is to grow and create wine with absolute transparency. As the only holders of the Demeter certificate in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, we transform vineyards into closed, distinctive ecosystems. Our work ends in the bottle, but begins deep in the soil, which we care for with the respect it deserves.
You won't find imported grapes or grapes from neighbors here. We process 100% of our own grapes. We know every berry personally, we have walked past it countless times during the season. We believe that true terroir exists only when the winemaker knows the history of every bush in his vineyard.
We welcomed a rare visit – Chili Ta and the crew of the show Back to Nature. Together we went directly to our vineyards, which turned into an open-air kitchen for a day. Chili cooked a menu from purely local ingredients that we grew and prepared ourselves on our farm.
It was exactly like our wine: authentic and in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape.
We are proud finalists of the prestigious Winery of the Year competition in 2019, 2022, 2024 and 2025. This award is a great honor for us. It is a recognition of a wide spectrum of experts for our complex work in the vineyards, for the purity and authenticity of wines, and a modern approach to marketing and sales.
